Sync interface migration

Hello everyone,

I have to migrate a sync link from its current interface "eth3" to the interface "eth2".

Is there a best practice to avoid some side-effects like an Active/Active situation ?

The most obvious thing I can think of is to do this during an outage window with low traffic volumes.
The gateways use CCP packets on all interfaces to determine reachability, so it shouldn't cause a failover.
