Installing a Hotfix/Jumbo

I have a ClusterXL with Active/standby setup. I tried to upgrade their Hotfix/Jumbo Version via Smart Console. 

The installation starts and the standby GW gets upgraded and when it gets restarted its cluster state remains down, then the installation stops unsuccessfully. The reason show: PNOTE DSD.
This only occurs for the standby GW, i.e. I go and upgrade the original Active GW via Gaia portal and after it reboots it goes into standby mode. Not sure though if I upgrade the original Standby GW via Gaia portal will reboot and NOT go into Admin down, as I haven't tested that.

What could be the problem and how can I troubleshoot it?

The second issue with Hotfix/Jumbo upgrade is with the management server. It doesn't seem to be working via Smart Console. If I click on install Hotfix/Jumbo I get right away: The type of target Checkpoint is not support
My understanding it should be allowed (sk168597). 
Then when I try to do the upgrade via Gaia portal, the Hotfix take doesn't get downloaded. It gives the following error:

Download of package Check_Point_R82_jumbo_hf_main_Bundle_T107_FULL.tgz Failed.
Cannot connect to the Check Point Cloud.
Make sure that 1. Proxy, DNS and routing are configured properly. 2. Firewall does not block traffic originating from this machine to Check Point servers (checkpoint.com and akamaitechnologies.com over HTTP and HTTPS).
No connection to Check Point cloud

 I've test curl_cli according to sk83520 and the results shows no problem, yet it doesn't seem to be working 😕

If you cannot download and you can access the websites via curl_cli -vk I think your cpuse agent is out of date. Try to update this manually via https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk92449

After the agent upgrade try again the upgrade via the web interface.

I am guessing you're talking about the Central Deployment Tool.
To my knowledge CDT is not supported to be used on Management/Log Server only on gateways.
