Identity awareness - RADIUS

is it posible to use RADIUS server for Identity awarness when the RADIUS server don't have the ip address of the users?

Pretty sure the RADIUS server will, in fact, know the IP of the client.
Unless the authentication request to the RADIUS server isn't coming directly from the client.
Without knowing the IP, you would be limited to using Captive Portal to authenticate users via RADIUS.
