Domain Object Stopped working after upgrading to R80.30/R80.40

Hi Team,

 

We upgraded our firewalls to R80.40 version recently from R80.30.

After we upgraded to R80.30 we noticed that the domain objects are not resolving IP and we created a ticket with TAC.

The support engineer advised to upgrade to R80.40 and see if the issue is been fixed. But the issue is still happening.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Any solutions?

If you try to ping the relevant hostname via FQDN, does the name correctly resolve?

Yes. It does resolve correctly.
