Heads up: R81.20 Take 166 HTTP inspection issue

Hi,

Check Point R&D confirmed a software defect affecting HTTP Inspection in R81.20 Jumbo Hotfix Take 166. The issue affects HTTP traffic processed by the gateway and is addressed by a dedicated R&D hotfix supplied by Check Point TAC.

During troubleshooting, GZIP inspection and SecureXL were investigated as possible contributing components; however, based on the information currently provided by TAC, neither GZIP inspection nor SecureXL has been confirmed as the root cause.

Hi Igor, We are having the similar problem with GZIP inspection on JHF166, I have raised tac case with Checkpoint.
I think rollback would be next step ?

TAC should issue a HF for you. The issue has been resolved in our case after HF installation.
