Upgrade endpoint security

Hello,

Why during upgrade endpoint security client on computer (w10) or servers (w2k16), the network is lost ?

Presumably because of the drivers that must be replaced as part of the upgrade process related to the network stack (desktop firewall).
Believe that can cause a momentary disruption to the network stack.
