Pop Up when update EDR to version 89.10.0370

Hi all,

I'm upgrading Check Point Endpoint Security clients from version 88.72.2001 to 89.10.0370.

I've already configured the notification settings to show only critical alerts, but users are still getting a popup prompting them to upgrade or postpone. Ideally, I'd like the upgrade to happen completely silently, with no popup or user interaction whatsoever.

In the Installation & Upgrade policy, I can see the option "Enable the user to postpone the client installation or upgrade" — if I uncheck this, will the upgrade proceed silently without any notification to the end user? Or is there another setting I'm missing to fully suppress the upgrade popup?

Thanks in advance.

Turning that option off will definitely help.
I believe there is still a "toast notification" (in the taskbar) when the client is actually upgrading, but it shouldn't interrupt the user.

So if this option is disabled, the popup won't appear on users' PCs during an update?

The upgrade/postpone popup is controlled by that option, so disabling it would also disable the popup.

Okay, thanks for your response. I have another question regarding 'Posture Management'. If this option is disabled and a patch is deployed to the device, will the EDR agent generate a pop-up for the user, or will it be silent?

I don't know the exact user experience here.
Having said that, it would make sense for the end user to receive a notification if a patch required a reboot to fully deploy.
