Large size of files.db

Good morning, assuming that today is 30.06.2023 could you explain me:

- what is "files.db"?

- why it is growing out of control?

why the last modified date is 5 days ago?

Contact TAC for the process to safely remove the file to free space.

Upgrade to a later version of Endpoint client as mitigation.

Endpoint Forensics & Anti-ransomware use this location as a repository for recovery data etc. 

From memory it shouldn't grow beyond 1GB and there are settings to control this under normal conditions.
