Exclusion not working

I have an issue where the Anti Malware software is deleting and putting into quarantine a legit program. I tried adding the process to be excluded from being scanned and also added the folder to the Anti-Ransomware and Behavioral Guard Settings but it still deletes the file. The path where it is finding the file is:

C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\temp\legit\legitprogram.exe (not real filename or folder). Any ideas?
