Endpoint on SQL server

Hi Team,

I am installing Harmony Endpoint (E84.50) on SQL server (2014). The endpoints are not able to connect to the SQL server after that. Is there any processes/services has to be excluded ? I have installed all the Threat prevention blades on the SQL server. Please advise.

What is shown in the Endpoint Logs ?

And: Why do this installation anyway ? If your SQL server is behind a CP GW, he will receive / send SQL data and check for MS updates while protected by GW IPS. AV and ABOT only make sense if there is user action on the unit like surfing websites, and that will not happen on an SQL server...

Hi,

There are no logs of denying anything. The purpose is to protect the SQL server from any threats. They don't have Checkpoint GW.  The Endpoint server is on cloud.

Hi. Did you get this resolved? We are having the same issue on E85 and server 2012.
After installation, all Server 2012 servers required a reboot to become operational.

We have also had to disable Threat hunting on the SQL boxes as this has been causing our jobs to crash.
