Endpoint Policy Server unable to sync with Endpoint Management Server

Hi!

I'm experiencing synchronization errors on my Endpoint Policy Server. Both Servers are running as Open Servers with R81.20 and Jumbo Hotfix Take 89. I get following output from /opt/CPuepm-R81.20/logs/server_messages.log:

[2025-01-15T14:09:11,058] ERROR Connection Point State Machine - MSI file download failed, probably, no MSI file on primary server with GUID: 10000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000
Policy server will not enter to the synchronization state. You should add missing packages on primary server or delete them from database. (LogSchemaSynchronizer)
[2025-01-15T14:09:11,060] ERROR Connection Point State Machine - Error performing sync with EPS (ConnectionPointStateMachine)
com.checkpoint.uepm.connectionpoint.ProcessEPSRequestException: Error forwarding request to EPS: HTTP error code: 404. Error Message: Not Found

Which MSI file can't be downloaded that broke the sync?

Any help is very much appreciated!

Thank you for your answer!

I managed to solve it myself. There was no MSI file missing but I had created a deployment rule for Linux Clients and the upload of the Shell script into the Repository didn't work. After deleting the rule, sync was working again.

Not clear from the error message what MSI file was removed.
TAC is going to be necessary to dig into this.
