Clarification Required on Harmony Endpoint On-Premise Deployment (BFSI Customer)

Hi All,

I would like to understand more about the usage of Harmony Endpoint On-Premise deployment for a BFSI customer.

Specifically, I have the following queries:

  1. What features are available when Harmony Endpoint is deployed in On-Premise mode?

  2. How does sandboxing work in an on-prem deployment? Is it handled locally or via Check Point cloud services?

  3. How does the licensing model work for on-prem deployments? Apart from the number of endpoints, do we also need to purchase a separate Endpoint Management Server license?

  4. Could you please share the relevant Admin Guide, SK articles, or deployment documentation for Harmony Endpoint On-Premise?

I reviewed the admin guide but could not find clear information on these aspects.

Any guidance or documentation would be greatly appreciated.

1. Recommend speaking to your local SE about this in greater detail (sk182642).

2. Can be either approach depending on requirements & connectivity, local will require purchase / deployment of a TE appliance(s).

3. Correct, Endpoint package per seat and a corresponding EPM(s). EPS are available via account services where needed.
