Checkpoint Endpoint Data Protection support

We bought Checkpoint Endpoint Data Protection Product, but we don't know how to install, activate, deploy and operate. Please give me a full guideline for them, as soon as possible.

If you didn't buy an on-prem management server, note the Cloud-managed option in the SK.
Your local Check Point SE can also help as well.

You might want to start with sk111395 as it includes a Data Security configuration video tutorial.

I'm watching. But I see this endpoint system needs 2 servers: Security server and Management server. Is it true?

Hi Tuyen,

The Endpoint Security blade is activated on the Security Management Server so in most basic environments, the two are virtually the one and the same thing. In large scale environments however you can deploy Policy Servers which are delegate servers but the main brain would still be the Security Management Server with the Endpoint Security blade enabled. Have a look at the Architecture section on sk117536 for more information.

Hi,

The first, I have tried to install the Management Server, the setup file I downloaded on the link: https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solut...

But when I finish the installing, I don't see anything which are related to my product: full disk encryption and media encryption.

Dear admin,

With my lab, I have some issue:
- After installation Checkpoint Endpoint on local account, my PC will be joined domain. But I only use this account to login. I can't use AD account. Please tell me how to integrate with AD system.
- Checkpoint guideline recommends that I don't change my password. But I think it will violate with my customer's password policy. I think I can update password for client by using SmartEndpoint, but I don't know how to do. Please help me!
