Check Point’s Plan for Microsoft’s MVI 3.0 Initiative

Hi community,

We would like to know Check Point’s plan regarding Microsoft’s MVI 3.0 (Microsoft Vulnerable Interface) initiative, announced as part of the Windows Resiliency Initiative. This program aims to move security applications from kernel mode to user-space, reducing the attack surface and improving system stability.

As some of our customers are already aware of this change, they are asking how it will impact Check Point solutions, particularly regarding compatibility and readiness for future Windows releases.

So we wanted to ask:

  • Does Check Point have an official statement or roadmap addressing this transition?

  • Is there any public documentation we can share with customers who are requesting clarity on this subject?

For reference, here is Microsoft’s official announcement:
The Windows Resiliency Initiative – Building Resilience for a Future-Ready Enterprise

Thanks in advance.

My unofficial comments are that we may already comply with this initiative to some degree.
This is based on some internal conversations going on around the time of the incident that ultimately led to the creation of this initiative 😉

Having said that, I believe @BarYassure is probably better suited to give a more formal answer.
