What's New? Product News | March 2025
Hi CloudGuarders,
This month, the monthly update is so exciting I couldn't wait! So please welcome the new releases for March 2025.
What's new in CloudGuard WAF this month?
- Enhanced Threat Prevention
The Threat Prevention tab is now divided into separate tabs for each security practice, allowing for more streamlined management:- Unified Asset Type: You can now use a single asset type for both Web Applications and Web APIs.
- New Security Practices: Anti-Bot and API Protection are now distinct security practices. Web Bots are now a sub-practice under Anti-Bot, and Schema Validation is a sub-practice under API Protection.
- Individual Custom Rules and Exceptions Configuration: Configure custom rules and exceptions for individual security practices or apply them across all practices.
- Individual Log Trigger and Web User Response Configuration: It’s now possible to set different Log Triggers and Web User Response Pages for each security practice.
Note: This feature requires an updated agent version, which will be released later this month. - All documentation pages have been updated to reflect the new UI and provide detailed explanations.
- New Envoy Docker Deployment
- Dual Container - Envoy + CloudGuard WAF: You can add CloudGuard WAF Nano-agent to an Envoy Docker and get all security benefits to your existing Envoy environment.
- Additional information and installation steps available in the dedicated documentation page.
- Various bug fixes.
Best Regards,
The CloudGuard WAF Team
