What's New? Product News | March 2024
Hi, CloudGuarders,
Here is the monthly update on the new and exciting releases!
What's new in CloudGuard WAF this month?
- CloudGuard WAF AppSec Gateways are now available with R81.20!
- As the R80.40 version is end of its life next month, we have worked to release our AppSec Gateways images with an updated version of Check Point’s OS version R81.20.
- The VMWare version is available to download from the link here.
- Azure versions are updated on the Azure Marketplace.
- AWS versions are updated on the AWS Marketplace.
- For current deployments, upgrade procedure will be released within the coming weeks, for new deployments – customers can deploy the new version.
- API Discovery is now GA with all the great features
- This feature allows you to automatically discover and document all the APIs that are exposed by your web applications and protect them from malicious attacks.
- API Discovery gets you complete API visibility, offers security using Schema Validation, and allows sensitive data detection to help ensure compliance compatibility.
- By cataloging and monitoring APIs, security teams can track undocumented changes and notice “shadow APIs”, essential for compliance and prioritizing security measures.
- To activate Rate Limit, browse to Cloud->Assets and edit the relevant Web API asset. In the left pane, under the Practices tab, click on "API Discovery" under the "Threat Prevention" practices.
- Various bug fixes.
Best Regards,
The CloudGuard WAF Team

Hello,
thank you for the update !
The link to vmware image seems to refer to the old one back to December 23, v1.7.
Do you have updated the image but refer to the same version ?
Best Regards
Nicolas
