License clarification on CGNS NSX

Dear Sir/Madam,

Would like to seek further clarification if the following SKU: CPSG-VSEC-NSX-BUN-NGTX has local management abilities which includes: network policy management blade and logging status blade?

My intention is to have some of the vFW running independently.

BR,

Darren

You can confirm this by looking for the following portions in the license string CPSM-C-2 CPSB-NPM CPSB-LOGS here:

This doesn't however mean it's something that can or should be done on an NSX deployment.

Suggest discussing the use case further with your local Check Point SE.

Hi Chris,

This is at the proposal stage where I do not have the actual license therefore, I'm checking in to seek for further clarification.

FYI, I tried to generate an eval license for CGNS NSX license to check on the license string but these items: CPSM-C-2 CPSB-NPM CPSB-LOGS are missing in the eval license. You may refer to screenshot which I attached.

Regards,

Darren

An NSX eval license doesn't include those blades e.g.

How about actual license? Would these license CPSM-C-2 CPSB-NPM CPSB-LOGS available in actual CGNS NSX license?

Appears so but again, doesn't mean it should be deployed in this way.

Most of the (current) CloudGuard licenses are interchangeable between the cloud platforms, for example this might make more sense on normal ESX.

The NSX license holds only GWs licenses.

for Management you will need a different license.
