When trying to upgrade AWS AutoScale Group, Community AMIs do not show results

Hello guys.

I am doing a lab to practice how to upgrade a CloudGuard Firewall AutoScale Group in AWS.

I am following the follow Deployment guide: Cloud Firewall for AWS Gateway Load Balancer Auto Scaling Group Deployment Guide

(Updating the Amazon Machine Image (AMI) for launch template).

In step 2 (Update the autoscaling group launch template) I have an issue when I try to find the Ami Id that I copied in step 1.

I use the product "Check Point Cloud Firewall with Threat Prevention and SandBlast BYOL " and my ScaleGroup were deploy in N. Virginia us-east-1.

When I copy the AMI-ID for example in this case: ami-0484071a45458135b (R82-779.2161 Jun 25, 2026) I and try to find it in "Choose an Amazon Machine Image (AMI)" step when I modify my ScaleGroup template it won't show any results.

Does anyone know if there are any new documentation of this process like this method is old and we need to do another step before, the product is not valid  and I need to choose another one or if I'm doing the process wrong.

I also share with you a few pictures of what I'm doing.
