Check Point Harmony Browse is happy to introduces the following updates:
New Features
- Data Loss Prevention new capabilities-
- Ask Action – all DLP events can now be configured with an Ask action. With Ask action enabled, when there is a DLP detection based on the configured data types, the user is prompt to provide justification for proceeding with sending the data. The justification is provided to the admin via logs.
- Enforcement by application- added the granularity to enforce DLP policy for GenAI applications per specific application. Admins can choose the required application out of hundreds supported applications.
** This feature is available only for Harmony Browse. To enable it, please reach out with the respective tenant id.
** Support for Harmony Endpoint will be introduced as part of E88.70 release.
- Copy Event – admins can now use DLP policy to control ‘Copy’ events. To configure this, please visit the ‘inbound’ policy rules.

- Block action for downloads – it is now possible to block file downloads completely using the DLP policy. To configure this capability, visit the DLP inbound rule.

- Display policy name and version – it is now possible to view the enforced policy name and version for DLP [and threat prevention] within the browser extension.
** Support for Harmony Endpoint will be introduced as part of E88.70 release.
- Paste events now include the paste-source – for paste events, logs will now include the source of the pasting event.
- Easy access to GenAI protect dashboard within the Data Loss Prevention policy page-
- ARM support – Harmony Browse is now supported on Windows ARM-based machines.
