checkpoint API

How to use checkpoint API to create IPv6 host address. Does any special configuration required to enable IPv6 API?

Just use the "ipv6-address" parameter instead of the "ipv4-address" one.

See here:

https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/latest/APIs/#cli/add-host~v1.5%20

E.g. (via management cli)

mgmt_cli add host name "MyFirstIPv6Host" ipv6-address "2001:0db8:85a3:08d3:1319:8a2e:0370:7344"

Not sure if you can use the short notation method of v6 addresses like "2001:db8::1428:57ab" - just try if this works as well.

Do we need to enable any other thing on mgmt server/gateway to push ipv6 command via api ?

It's a standard API command. The management API can be used in order to fulfil management tasks, like creating objects. Therefore nothing needs to be enabled via the API; just create/modify/use v6 parameters in your objects. If you have questions regarding IPv6 and CP in general you should take a look at this.
