Queries regarding R80.20 API
Hi,
I have few queries regarding R80.20 API:
- Is the API supported only for Check Point Management or on Check Point Provider also.
- Can the API be pushed to the Chassis which is running a Lower version R76SP.50, while the Management is on R80.20
- Can the API be pushed to the Virtual System (VS) running on a Gateway or Chassis environment on a lower version R76SP.50, while the Management is on R80.20

API questions should be posted in Developers (Code Hub)
I also assume you are referring to the R80.x Management APIs.
- Yes, supported on Multi-Domain (Provider-1)
- Yes, gateways/VSX can be on earlier version than R80.x and you can leverage the Management APIs.
Provisioning VSes via API is still not supported and requires use of the CLI tool vsx_provisioning_tool.
