Couldn't receive routes with IPv6 from gaia api

HI,

I have tried the following API in order to receive all routes on certain GW including IPv6 routes.

/v1.7/gaia-api/show-routes

In this Api respond I get only ipv4 routes.

is there any other Api related to routes in order to receive  also Ipv6 ?

thanks

You’re not missing anything, the Gaia APIs do not currently return IPv6 routes.
We are planning to address this limitation in a future release of the Gaia APIs.

Meanwhile, you will need to use something like run-script to obtain the IPv6 routes.

You could use ‘run script’ to run the relevant command to get the routes.
Why the API doesn’t return IPv6 routes, not sure.

Thanks for the answer.

Maybe not this specific API but is there another Api call to return an IPv6 route?

Are the IPv6 routes coming from a dynamic routing protocol or are they locally configured?
In any case, I would expect the show-routes endpoint to show them, though if they come from, say, BGP, you could try show-routes-bgp and see if they show up.
Regardless, I recommend a TAC case for this.

It's a static route

Yes, I would expect that to return.

I don't see there is any mention of IPv6 routes in the Checkpoint management API Center

show-routes

"Parameter nameValueDescriptionaddressipv4-addressIPv4 address for this route"

Only for IPv4

just to make sure in not missing something
