NMSAAA9999 Invalid NAS IP address

In Gaia we would like to use an external NAS IP which is not configured as interface on Gaia but we are not able to configure an IP that is no on the Gaia interface

NMSAAA9999  Invalid NAS IP address 'x.x.x.x'

 

traffic is source NAT on external firewall

For what I know, you can only configure a NAS IP address using one of the IP address configured on the firewall interface.

But, to better understand, what are you configuring? Some kind of authentication?

This controls what IP address the connection originates from at the TCP/IP level...which must be using an interface IP.
Otherwise, if the NAT device wasn't there, there would be no way to receive packets sent from that IP.
