MEP with 2 centres third party gateway - Failover issue

Hi,

I am trying to setup a VPN connection to 2 external gateways in a MEP configuration.

I run an XL cluster on version R82

I want to achieve the scenario 1 explained in the old kb sk164355

In addition to this setup, I have an additional parameter. I used a 1 to 1 static NAT for my source to the remote server.

Both centre GW protect the same encryption domain.

DPD is used on all gateways.

After pushing the change both tunnels come up, and the ssh session is working fine on the first gateway in the list.

When I simulate a connection failure with the 1st external gateway, the ssh session stop working ann never come back online even if the secondary tunnel is up.

However, if I remove the first gateway from the community then it is working.

I tested all the option possible after researching a lot on the forum and Check Point documentation.

Is this setup really working? the original KB is quite old.
