Renewing or Extending CCSE

Hi,

My CCSE is expiring in 2019. I will be going for CCMSE but is there any way to stop/avoid expiring CCSE?

Regards,

Ashish

Check Point Certification FAQ - Updated December 2018

All Check Point certifications have an expiration date. You are required to re-certify or upgrade in order to keep your certification current. In order to keep your expiring CCSE certification current, you can do the CCSE R80 Update exam (156-915.80), the regular CCSE R80 exam (156-315.80) or the higher CCSM R80 (156-115.80) or CCMSE (156-820.77) exam. In order to extend the expiration date of your CCSE exam for six months, just sign-up and attend a technical training at CPX 2019.

Hello,

Can you please clarify if it is true today as well? I have CCSE cert, to renew it I can pass #156-915.80?

Thanks in advance.

Note that the FAQ attached by Danny calls out that the following are the prerequisites for R80 CCSM (156-115.80):

CCSE R80 or CCSM R77 (156-115.77).

Also per the FAQ "Continuing Education Accreditation" exams no longer extend your CCSE.

CCSM R77/R80/ELITE
