Does retaking an expired ISA exam count towards CCSM/E?

I'm currently a CCSM+1 ISA so need to pass one more ISA exam to acquire the CCSME certification.

I have a number of ISA certifications that have expired.

Would retaking one of these ISA exams AFTER they have expired (so not extending) count towards the CCSME requirements?

sk163417 indicates that ANY ISA exam passed in the necessary time period counts however it is not explicitly stated that retaking expired ISA certifications count count towards requirements.

Can anyone confirm please?

Hi,

Yes, you can take an ISA that you previously passed as a means to CCSM/CCSM Elite. Passing the ISA will not extend the expired (or current) ISA as each exam has its own 2-year cert period.

Feel free to email me to look at your specific User Center if you want additional confirmation.

Tug
