I found this Check Point white paper from 2015. Does Check Point & Opswat still have a complimentary relationship now in 2024?
Our IT is looking into Opswat now, and I was wondering if Check Point would compliment it.
According to the opswat site there is no longer a partnership with CP - only with other vendors. I would assume that since 2015, CP has brought out many similar products that compete with these of opswat.
I've pointed out this discrepancy to our Business Development folks.
From reading the briefs, the most logical integration point is using the Threat Prevention API to emulate files: https://sc1.checkpoint.com/documents/TPAPI/CP_1.0_ThreatPreventionAPI_APIRefGuide/html_frameset.htm
I assume, aside from whatever needs to be configured in OPSWAT, this would require either an on-prem Threat Prevention appliance or a license to use the Threat Prevention API in ThreatCloud.
Hopefully that helps.

I'm sure there's some way to integrate the two products, but I don't believe we have a current relationship with them.
Confirming this...
I asked Sales person about it after seeing this post and they told me there is definitely no partnership that esixts with CP and Opswat, so guys are correct 🙂
Andy
I also called them today and they confirmed below link shows their official partners.

We have two Solution Briefs for OPSWAT here: https://www.checkpoint.com/technology-partners/
I also checked with our Business Development folks to confirm this is still active.
It may be a one-sided partnership if opswat doesn't recognize the relationship. Technically, I'm curious how the two partners work together. Along, with listing partners - is there a 'technically how we complement each other" white paper?

So, for example - rather than using opswat's on prem appliance, use check point's ! got it.
Lady I talked to said she was not allowed ro disclose such info to me, which makes sense, as anyone can claim to be anything or anyone else. If you really need that info, I would approach your Sales person.
Best,
Andy
