Licensing difference - CPLIC Print and smartmonitor expiration date

Hello

i recently noticed sometihng that had never noticed before, my IPS blade via CLI , shows (cplic print) that expiration date is : NEVER but from smartmonitor it shows october 2019. Is the first part only for the license in general and the one from monitor regarding the support?

I am a little confused, where should i actually check to know when it expires (to be sure for renewals, etc)?

cplic print should be fairly accurate.
If there's a discrepancy between the two, it's probably worth a TAC case.

Hi!

From the SmartUpdate you can try update contracts to get subscription info for your license.

In this case NEVER may means your license is permanent. Another story is that license needs a valid services. In general all services based subscription like IPS will have their expiration date.

Is there a 'specific' type of license that is permanent, without expiry date?
