I would like to know about te equipment licensing.

I would like to know about te equipment licensing. 

(TE1000X Appliance CPAP-SBTE1000X-28VM )

An issue occurred with te1000x equipment, and it was resolved by inserting a eval license. (LICENSE 0.0.0.0 26Aug2023 CPAP-TE1000 CPSB-FW CPSM-C-2 CPSB-IA CPSB-ADNC CPSB-NPM CPSB-LOGS CPSB-AV CPSB-ABOT-L CPSB-TEMU-VMNUM-28 CK-000000)

The symptom was that there was only one vm running, and I saw the message : (contract and license manager : update_Data : updating vms_num to 1 (detected by hardware) 

The sandblast API is being used, and TE equipment is being serviced through a gateway.
Gateways has NGTX licenses. But not TE. (I have confirmed that no additional license is required in this case)

The TE equipment had the latest threat prevention engine(60.99), and an issue occurred after the gateways' engine was updated.(57.99 or less->60.99)

 

1. There is no difference between the existing license on the equipment and the added license, so why did the VMs work?

2. If it is a licensing issue, which license should I purchase?

As @G_W_Albrecht said, if you open a case with Account services, they can verify for sure.

As a result of the case opening, it was said to be a TEMU blade renewal issue, and the license was renewed by Account Services.
