Smartmove for Cisco Firepower
Hi Team,
Smartmove can be used to migrate Cisco ASA to Checkpoint as the available SK article. Will the same work for Cisco Firepower 4xxx series firewalls. If not, is there any way to migrate Firepower objects & policies to Check Point.

Hello,
I am looking for a way to migrate Access Control, Nat policy and objects from Firepower Management Centre to the CheckPoint. I looked at the sk115416 but it only mentions ASDM or show run from ASA devices. nothing about FMC config migration. has someone done this before?
Regards
Attiq

Hi,
Only Cisco ASA is supported.
We explorer Firepower locally managed as a new supported vendor.

I second this question. A search shows LOTS of cisco articles to migrate checkpoint to firepower. It would be nice to see one going the other way.

I can only speak from my own experience...I used it fine with Cisco ASA and also ASA that had firepower built in (I guess they call it virtual instance??...not really sure) and worked in both cases. I honestly never tried it on dedicated Cisco firepower appliance, so could not tell you if that works or not.
