Hey,
Just reaching out to hear that it's not only me 🙂
Is it possible to monitor secureXL status on virtual devices? It does not seem to be the case.
I use the OID;
.iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.checkpoint.products.sxl.fwSXLGroup.fwSXLStatus
.1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.36.1.1.0
As per the sk90860 and polling the VS's directly - only VS0 responds 😞
Thanks,
Henrik
OID does not seem to be VSX related, it should start with 1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.16...
Also, check if you are using VS SNMP mode, section III-5 from the mentioned sk90860
That would be a feature request then 🙂 So we can monitor if admins are disabling securexl for whatever reason.
We are indeed running in vs mode, and get no response when polling a VS with context mode ctxname_vsidXX
