mac base client authentication
Hi,
We have Check point 5800 appliance at our H.O. There are 50 branch locations connected to H.O through MPLS link. Branch location node/client accessing application from H.O. server through Check point 5800
Query – Can we configure mac base authentication on Check point 5800 only for valid branch location node/client. Or any other way we can whitelist the known user.
We need to avoid outside/employee home laptop to connect H.O. network
Thank you..

We don't support MAC-based authentication, which you would typically find in a NAC solution.
What you can do is use Identity Awareness to only allow machines that are connected to Active Directory (and thus "corporate" machines) to be allowed to access resources.
Create an Access Role and use it in the relevant rules.
