Using wildcard for domains in Domain object group

In checkpoint firewall, i made a domain object set "Blacklisted". And I have made an access rule in checkpoint that will blocked/dropped any traffic (source or destination) that goes to any domain that is in the group set "Blacklisted".

My question is, if i put a wildcard say for example, i include "*.xyz" in the group set, does that mean that any url/sub domain that has .xyz will be blocked or dropped?
