Standalone to Distributed Management Server Migration

Hi There,

   We are planning to migrate a legacy EOL CheckPoint Standalone Cluster running R77.3O to a new R81.10 cluster with in a distributed deployment (new management server). I think the latest version I can jump to is R80.40.

 Installation and Upgrade Guide R80.40 

Since this is a standalone deployment I wish to check whether is it sill ok to run the R80.40 Management Server Migration Tool on the gateway which is acting as the management server?
