Open Server Core Licensing

Hello,

Assume a 12 core server as an example. 

Do you know if you have an open server with a 2 core license and you add a 4 core license to it, does the box then get 6x licensed cores?

Well, number of physical cores wont change no matter the license you put on.

The licenses are not additive. In fact, licensing terms prohibit a combination of 2 licenses on the same platform.

Probably best to check with Account services...but, you might be correct.
