Hey guys,
I really need a confirmation about something. So, customer has R80.40 cluster and backup member is 13% use for /var/log dir, while active is at 79% use for same directory. I worked with TAC and we discovered that below dir is 42 GB in size on active member:
/var/log/opt/CPsuite-R80.40/fw1/tmp
There are millions of rep_**** files (**** are random numbers) and I just wanted to confirm, can those files be safely deleted? Im wondering what would cause those to be generated in such large scale in the first place? Odd thing is, I checked 2 other customers who use same type of cluster and no issue there.
Thanks!
Issue solved...we just ran command find -name "rep_*" -delete from the directory in question and now /var/log shows 15% use, which is perfect!
