I had the same problem, IPS was reporting not working, but in the logs I had seen IPS stuff....
(somehow cosmetic problem)
From the opened case they recommended the below (that fix it for us):
Please find the action plan below - 1) Restart "FWD process" stop: # cpwd_admin stop -name FWD -path "$FWDIR/bin/fw" -command "fw kill fwd" start: # cpwd_admin start -name FWD -path "$FWDIR/bin/fw" -command "fwd"
2) Install Policy |
I can look for the TAC email and attach it here, if needed.
I had this issue with customer once and we just ran ips off and ips on from ssh and worked fine afterwards. Cant recall exact version, but was definitely R80.xx flavour.
