ClusterXLFailover SNMP trap

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has the message that is sent when the ClusterXLFailover trap triggers?

I've setup the trap but wish to get Solarwinds to send an email when it triggers, to do that I need to see what that trap looks like.

I was hoping to find the information online rather than trigger the trap in a live environment but so far I've failed to find anything.

Thanks

If I'm not mistaken it should be something along the lines of:

cluster_info: (ClusterXL) member 2 (192.168.1.2) is up.; product: VPN-1 & FireWall-1;

cluster_info: (ClusterXL) member 1 (192.168.1.1) is down.; product: VPN-1 & FireWall-1;

If prefered you can also poll an OID for the ClusterXL status of a member.  (.1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.5.6)

hi,

yes, after hours of debugging and TAC help and a minimum of HF version.

set snmp traps trap clusterXLFailover enable

and copying some files to the monitoring server

$CPDIR/lib/snmp/chkpnt.mib
$CPDIR/lib/snmp/chkpnt-trap.mib
/etc/snmp/GaiaTrapsMIB.mib

Regards
