Can I use IPv6 as secondary IP with IPV4 as Primary interface IP

Dear Friends,

I am having one Juniper SRX 650 cluster environment, which i am planning to migrate to Checkpoint clusterXL with 13800 appliances.

In current scenario i am having cluster interfaces with primary IP as IPv4 and secondary IP as IPV6.

Servers communicating with internet environment through both IP's simultaneously through same VLAN.

I want to know if similar implementation i can do with ClusterXL HA (Active / passive) environment?

Does checkpoint appliances accept IPV6 as secondary IP address?

Thanks & Regards,

Uttam

VLAN interface can be configured with only IPv4, only IPv6 or combination of both. You can communicate within this VLAN at the same time with IPv4 and/or IPv6.

So answer is YES.

Kind regards,
