CheckMates Go:
Maestro Madness
I have a check point 1450 Appliance, a website is blocked because its under the Media Sharing category.
I tried to unblock it by adding a Firewall policy rule, but its not getting unblocked because the rule is not taking effect, the URL is still blocked by the standard default policy.
How can I make the url bypass the default filtering policy?
This question should be located here: SMB and SMP
Did you already try sk105892 - How to add an exception for a specific web site in the URL filtering of CP 600/1100 appli... ?
Yeah, actually I created the rule based on this article, but when I checked the log I discovered that the website is still blocked because of the default rule.
Then i would ask TAC for support - you have followed an sk that did not work as it should !
I cant seem to be able to contact them by phone, do you have the support email account?
All the ways to contact support are here: Contact Support | Check Point Software
For the 1450 appliance (assuming this is locally managed), you can use the Small & Medium Business "Chat with Support" link on the above page.
