LAN Switch setting in local network settings suddenly disappears

TO ALL

From the morning of March 25, 2024 (Japan time), the LAN_SWITCH setting in the LAN settings suddenly disappears on the installed Spark and SparkPro models.

At least, such symptoms were not confirmed until March 22, 2024 (Japan time).

As far as we know, the phenomenon has been confirmed on more than 50 models of CP1530/1550/1535/1555.

We are unable to confirm the firmware version of the affected device.

Currently, as a temporary measure, we are logging into the UTM GUI and manually adding the LAN_Switch settings.

Is there any other good way?

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi, _Val_

Sorry for the late reply.

Eventually we were contacted through a Japanese distributor,

It was said that this issue was caused by a newly added setting to the InfinityPortal plans.
Currently, the issue has been resolved by reviewing the InfinityPortal settings.

However, Gateways whose LAN1_Switch settings had disappeared had to be reconfigured individually.

And we have completed processing for almost all Gateways.

Thank you for your cooperaion.

Are those models centrally managed? Is there any chance a change was installed during the weekend?

In any case, please open a TAC request for this: https://help.checkpoint.com

Hi, _Val_

Thank you for your advice.

All of our customers' UTMs are locally managed.

And We haven't changed anything.

I'm guessing that some changes to InfinityPortal have been made and that's causing the issue.

I will make a suggestion to TAC.

Thank you for your cooperation.
