Device status on SmartProvisioning

DISCLAIMER: FOR EDUCATION PURPOSES

 

I configured a 1430 gateway for my lab and I have Internet access, SIC established and policy fetched all successful on the Management Portal but not able to see the same status for the device in SmartProvisioning.

Gateway Status: Waiting  | Policy Status: Waiting  |  Provisioning Status: Unknown

I am able to SSH into the device from SmartProvisioning without issue. I am able to access the Device Management Portal through SmartProvisioning without issue.

When I go to Get Status Details, I receive "Failed to establish session with AMON server at ###.###.###.###:18192

How do I fix this?

It's refers to regular Security Gateways but in both cases there is a failure to receive the status from the the device:

cpstat fails with "Failed to establish session with AMON server at 127.0.0.1:18192"

Check to see if you have the same corrupted registry entry.
