Internal IPSEC VPN Tunnel Possible?

In order to segregate our guest wireless, I have been asked to explore the idea of an internal tunnel on our LAN using a 1550 appliance to our larger cluster appliances. This tunnel will be internal over the LAN and not established over the internet. Is this possible? Does the 1550 have to establish a tunnel using the WAN interface, and also similar do enterprise appliances like the 5600 have to establish a tunnel using their WAN interface?

The idea is we would establish a tunnel and then route all traffic in the tunnel out the WAN interface for internet access on guest wifi. Is this possible? Has anyone else out there tried something like this?

In both cases, you can choose the IP address the VPN establishes from using the Link Selection setting.
