ClusterXL remote access vpn licensing

When running Cluster XL is it required to license BOTH gateways for remote access VPN?

 

How does this work? Apparently we currently have 25 Licenses but they only apply to 1 of the gateways. So if the ClusterXL were to fail-over there would be no VPN licenses. 

 

Is this correct?

One of the requirements for ClusterXL is that both gateways are licensed exactly the same on all features.
So, yes, in the current situation, if you fail over to the secondary node, you will have no Remote Access licenses.
