iDRAC - troubleshooting tips

Hi,

just tried to implement idrac on a new Smart-1.  We did that already on an other device successfully.

Are there any more troubleshooting commands available than mentioned in sk122914? No FTW done yet.

Basically, what does Error:iDRAC access denied  mean exactly?

Is no IDRAC card inserted?

What precise model is it?
On the other Smart-1 appliances, did you do it before or after first time wizard was executed?

same model on 2 locations: Smart-1 6000-L

No FTW until now.  Just preparation work before migration stuff.

sk176942: iDRAC Troubleshooting might assist, if there are still issues I advise to open ticket with our support.

just as an update. Could get manage to setup idrac on all devices.

After update LOM firmware to 5.10 AND establish connectivity to the LOM port, the error message

disappeared.

And LOM update does only work when your device has already IP connectivity via any other port (MGMT,access)
