Hi
A firewall MGMT R80.30 got "destroyed" and the management service does not run/start anymore, now the question, is there any chance to see the policy of the firewall in any way?
It is enought when I know what file and how I can have a look at it with "vi" or so, just need the idea of the rules, I am aware that I would not see the IP addresses, object names are OK.
Thanks!
I would work with the TAC to try and recover the management server if you can.
Otherwise you may be able to partially reconstruct the policy by reviewing files in $FWDIR/state on the gateway.
However, there is not a simple way to dump the policy from the gateway itself.
