Smart Event sizing for Multi-Domain environment?

Dear CheckMates,

Does anybody have any advice on how to size the VM for running the dedicated Smart Event server for an R81.10 Multi-Domain environment?

I have searched and not been able to find anything that can help me with the details:-

- Number of CPU/Cores

- RAM

- Storage

etc, etc...

The VM will be running a GAIA on an ESX platform.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Andrew

Do you know your log rates or how many gateways it will need to support?

As a guide you can base the VM spec off the equivalent Smart-1 appliance and adjust accordingly in consultation with your CP SE.

I used the specs off the Smart Event devices and also was able to find some more SKs for the log rate, etc..
