R81.10 SMS proxy IPS/URL filtering updates

Hi All,

I am trying to configure an explicit proxy for the SMS to retrieve IPS updates however it seems that it is not using the proxy settings.

We also see this error message still in smartconsole on the gateway.

Error: Update failed. Could not reach "dl3.checkpoint.com". Check proxy configuration on the gateway.

When we go to access tools, updates we receive the error 

Note: No proxy configuration is defined for the Security Management server

We click on the proxy configuration link here it reminds us that the proxy configuratin is located on Global Properties >> proxy but that is already configured, if we try to manually put it 0 changes are saved.

We configured both global properties proxy settings as well as the SMS Gaia interfaces proxy setting.

Is there something that we are missing?

For your information curlcli works when using proxy so there is connectivity, it is configured in wireshark that proxy is not used from SMS

thanks Chris is was set on the second option with empty field so I configured it on default publish and working

Hi Chris, so we updated IPS etc and published and installed policy, one gateway went green for a moment but then again we receive the error on gateway level

Error: Update failed. Could not reach "dl3.checkpoint.com". Check proxy configuration on the gateway.

I check from gateway and I get no error

curl_cli --proxy http://proxy.federale.be:80 https://dl3.checkpoint.com --insecure

So the updates seems to work properly on SMS now (with your solution) but still the error remains, do you have any clue?
