Notification mail vpn down gmail_config_gateway

Hello,

I am trying to find a way to notify the VPN tunnel down by email gmail, I have configured and followed this sk25941 but it does not work when the VPN down ( I added the email notification on the tunnel), I need the exact more detailed config of gmail on checkpoint so that it works.

The internal_sendmail command does not support authentication, which practically every Internet-facing SMTP server requires.

You need to use a local SMTP server configured as described in sk25941.

What precise SMTP server are you using to try and send mail?
Did you verify it was configured as described in the SK?

smtp gmail server configuration is smtp.gmail.com

As I stated before, you cannot do it with Gmail or likely SMTP server reachable from the Internet.
You need to install an SMTP server on your local network and configure it as described in the SK.
