Some CheckMaters are complaining about inability to move from Full HA to a Distributed Configuration on R80.x, for example here. Indeed, the direct approach seems to be blocked, as the relevant SK article is not applicable to any version higher than R77.30
However, thanks to Juan Concepcion, there is a way to move forward.
Here is the quote from Juan's instructions:
configuration - change line:
RegistryKeys FWManagement,Firewall,Primary
to
RegistryKeys FWManagement,Primary (remove firewall)
configuration2
:is_firewall_module (yes)
to
:is_firewall_module (no)
:installed_products_registry_string ("FWManagement,Firewall,Primary")
to
:installed_products_registry_string ("FWManagement,Primary")
This allowed me to import the configuration. I was then able to go in and deselect firewall module and install database on the newly imported management station.
Hello,
thank for your help, I'm trying to move from a Full HA R80.10 toward a distributed environment
I performed the steps indicated but probably I made some mistake.
I exported configuration
I modified file as suggested
I got a fresh management
I imported files
I still have a cluster object with inside a cluster member that still is a management.
Now, what step have I do to get just a management object?
Hi CheckMates,
Is there any solution for migrate R80.X Full HA to R80.40 Distributed?
